House soft wash
A house wash goes top to bottom. Vinyl, brick, hardie, stucco, and painted wood each get a mix and a distance that fits the surface. The goal is a clean wall, not a stripped one. North sides and shaded walls in Atlanta hold green algae all year. Pollen leaves a film that a hose will not move. We treat it, let it release, and rinse.

Roof wash
Black streaks on Atlanta shingles are algae, not dirt you can blast off. A roof wash is a soft wash on purpose. High pressure shortens the life of the shingles. We apply a low-pressure mix and rinse. Granules stay on the roof. If the streaks are only on the north slope, we will say so and price that slope.

Soft washing versus pressure washing
Soft washing cleans the building. Pressure washing cleans the concrete. Homeowners book both when the driveway is red with clay and the siding has mildew, which is a normal Atlanta house. Fences and decks in good shape are soft washed too. Crumbling mortar or peeling paint gets pointed out before we wash it.
Where we soft wash
Houses and low-rise buildings up to three stories, from the Roswell shop out through Alpharetta, Milton, Marietta, Decatur, and Buckhead. We do not soft wash high-rises. Plants are wet down first and rinsed after. You do not have to be home if we can walk the property and reach a hose bib. If the result is wrong, tell us within 3 days and we come back free.

What is soft washing?
Soft washing cleans siding, roofs, and painted surfaces with low pressure and a cleaning mix, then a rinse. It is the opposite of blasting the wall with a pressure washer.
How much does soft washing cost in Atlanta?
A house wash is priced by the size of the home and how heavy the mildew is. A roof wash is priced separately, often by the slopes that have black streaks. Text or call (404) 369-2350 for a flat price.
Will soft washing damage my roof or siding?
The method is low pressure so it does not etch siding or tear shingle granules. We will not wash paint that is already peeling, and we will tell you before we start.
Do you soft wash and pressure wash on the same day?
Yes. The house and roof are soft washed. The driveway, patio, and walkways are pressure washed. One visit, one price, quoted before we arrive.
How often should an Atlanta house be soft washed?
Most homes need it every one to two years. Shaded lots and houses under trees grow algae faster, especially on the north wall.
