Send the letter or a photo of the stained side. We quote the house wash from that: brick, stucco, hardie, or paint, top to bottom, including the eaves if they are mildewed too. The mix releases algae. A blast would etch stucco and leave a worse front than you started with. North walls and elevations that face a creek grow faster than the street side. We wash the sides that need it and say so if one elevation is clean.

Roof streaks on subdivision shingles
Black streaks are algae. The roof wash is low pressure, the same family of work as the house wash, priced by the slopes that show it. Granules stay on the shingle. If the HOA only mentioned the walls, we will not add the roof unless you can see the streaks.
